Making History Connects

The Family

 

While genealogy research connects a family on vertical plane, creating new family history connects the family together on a horizontal plane. This approach to family history encourages youth to spend time with living family members. As parents, grandparents, and other family members help the youth to create family history they become co-creators in this important work. This time together can result in better friendships and stronger familial relationships that will serve the youth throughout their life.
